PROCEDURES

The Foundation considers grant applications in written form only. Applications are considered monthly throughout the year and applicants are notified in writing of the Board’s decision. An application form is required and can be obtained by clicking the Application Form link below or by contacting our office. The review process usually takes between two and three months. If your project is time sensitive it is recommended that you submit the proposal as early as possible. Site visits are a part of the evaluation process. Requests should be complete and concise.

Application Must Contain the Following:

Organization Information
• Grant Application signed by the Director of the Organization
• Brief History of the Organization
• List of Board of Directors or Governing Board
• Copy of the 501©3 ruling from the Internal Revenue Service

Project Information
• Describe the project including the objectives and evaluation process
• Amount sought from this Foundation
• Detailed budget for the funds requested and project overall
• List of other committed funding sources for this project

Supplementary documentation is left to the discretion of the applicant. Any additional information required will be requested personally or in writing. Videotapes cannot be returned. Individual or group interviews with the Directors are not part of the assessment procedure.
