PROCEDURES
The Foundation considers grant applications
in written form only. Applications are considered monthly throughout
the year and applicants are notified in writing of the Board's
decision. An application form is required and can be obtained
by clicking the Application Form link below or by contacting
our office. The review process usually takes between two and
three months. If your project is time sensitive it is recommended
that you submit the proposal as early as possible. Site visits
are a part of the evaluation process. Requests should be complete
and concise.
Capital Projects: please complete the supplemental sheet and includewith
grant application. Please note that capital funds are verylimited.
These are generally reviewed by the Board in October.
Application Must Contain the Following:
Organization Information
• Grant Application signed by the Director of the Organization
• Brief History of the Organization
• List of Board of Directors or Governing Board
• Copy of the 501(c)3 ruling from the Internal Revenue Service
Project
Information
• Describe the project including the objectives and evaluation
process
• Amount sought from this Foundation
• Detailed budget for the funds requested and project overall
• List of other committed funding sources for this project
Supplementary
documentation is left to the discretion of the applicant. Any additional
information required will be requested personally or in writing.
Media materials cannot be returned. Individual or group interviews
with the Directors are not part of the assessment procedure.
