For more than a century, St. Barnabas Senior Services (SBSS) has been a cornerstone of support for older adults across the Greater Los Angeles area. Founded in 1908, SBSS has evolved into a dynamic, community-based organization dedicated to helping seniors – particularly those who are low-income, isolated, and from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Each year, SBSS reaches over 18,000 older adults across Los Angeles providing nutrition, transportation, care management, wellness classes, social activities, and education.
The Doheny Foundation has partnered with St. Barnabas Senior Services since 1994 sharing in their mission and belief that all older adults have the right to age with dignity.
