In partnership with the Daughters of Charity, Depaul USA established Casa Milagrosa as a day resource center dedicated to providing essential services and pathways to greater stability for individuals experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity in the Westlake and greater MacArthur Park neighborhoods. Since it first opened, the center has witnessed a significant increase in community need, growing from 700 annual guests in the Spring of 2022 to more than 3,300 in 2025, and the demand continues to rise. The center offers a hot breakfast, laundry services, housing support, case management, food distribution events, a computer room, and wellness programs. Casa Milagrosa remains committed to extending a warm welcome, conversation, meals, and the assistance necessary for individuals facing homelessness and food insecurity, helping them move closer to stability, connection with others, and a life of dignity.
